This year’s Lesmahagow Show promises to be a cut above!

SPEED sheep shearing this Friday night will act as an exciting prelude to Lesmahagow Show this Saturday, May 31, which also promises to be a cut above!

Before the excitement of the displays and judging of hundreds of top class cattle, sheep and Clydesdale horses at Brocketsbrae on Saturday, superfast shearers will show off their talents at the Showfield from 7pm on Friday.

Show secretary Isabella Christie said: “There will be 80 to 100 shearers coming from all over the world, including New Zealand.”
