6. Buchanan Street
If you fancy being brave, there’s no shortage of shops which you can pop into on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street but it’s probably best to take an umbrella or a jacket with a hood.

The medieval cathedral has a rich history dating all the way back to 1136 AD. Here you can also visit the crypt of St Kentigern. It’s a great place to shelter out the rain, especially if you’ve been checking out the nearby necropolis.
