Since 1916 the Veterans’ charity has cared for 96,000 ex-service personnel, thanks to the ongoing kindness of supporters.

During 2019, the charity will be actively looking for new supporters to help fraise the £9 million needed to continue providing the high standards of care synonymous with the name Erskine.

The door to door fundraisers, all trained by Erskine staff, are uniquely placed to narrate first-hand the difference even the smallest of donations makes to the charity’s veterans and spouses across its four care homes.

Easily recognisable by their Erskine ID badges and purple branded clothing, fundraisers work between 3pm and 9pm to help raise awareness of Erskine.

They will never ask for a donation by cash, cheque or debit/credit card at the door. The method of donation is by Direct Debit, which the charity considers to be a safe and convenient method of giving for both parties.
