Elsewhere in Clydesdale today, Crossford Playgroup and members of Lanark Rotary Club are holding a charity night this evening.

Local group The Mazdas and a supporting act are back at Crossford Village Hall from 7.30pm to 11pm for what should be a fabulous evening.

And the curtain is coming down on the Carluke-based Shine Youth Music Theatre’s latest production, The Phantom of the Opera.

The show, which is taking place in Motherwell Concert Hall, will have a matinee performance at 2.30pm with the evening show starting at 7.30pm.
