What’s on in Clydesdale this Saturday?

WE have Jacobites and Redcoats from the 18th century in Clydesdale today plus lots of ghost and ghouls this evening.

The Living History event, featuring Jacobites and Redcoats, is being held at New Lanark World Heritage Site from 11.30am to 4pm.

Over in Carluke, the United Reform Church will be having a soup and sweet lunch in the church hall in Carnwath Road from 11.30am to 1.30pm.

Keen gardeners can come along to Lanark’s Castlebank Park for a free workshop on propogation; this is being held from 1pm to 3pm while in the evening Stanmore House School is the venue for Lanark and District Pipe Band’s fundraising ceilidh.

Would be ghosthunters can also take a trip to Cartland Bridge Hotel for a Lanarkshire Paranormal ghosthunt from 9pm to 3am.

However, organisers have stated that this event is for 18’s only.
