A bright start

Victoria Park in Glasgow has been announced as the venue for one of the world’s most unique, fun and exciting festival series that organisers say aims to “unite people through music and colour”.

The partymakers are expecting people to attend in their thousands.

A spokesperson for the HOLI ONE colourfest said: “We expect thousands of people to turn up and share music, dance, performance art and visual stimulation.

This will take place against a backdrop of dance and DJ music; revellers get to throw brightly coloured powders into the air to create an explosion of colour and excitement celebrating togetherness and “the colours of life”.

Festivals founder Stephan Dau, added: “Victoria Park is a fantastic location and we’re sure everybody who attends will have a great time.

“The festival is all about making friends, coming together and having an unforgettable experience.

Everyone is equal and everyone leaves looking the same, covered in safe and good quality cosmetic powder, with a smile on their face and some great pictures to remember it all by.”
