A celebration of church life

The unique event was held in Kilsyth’s Burns and Old Parish Church to show and exhibit the work of these groups and organisations.

The groups and organisations who took part in the special event included rainbows, brownies, guides, anchor boys, junior section, choir, women of wisdom, indoor bowling club, camera club, bold kids club, nursery, Bible class, guild congregational board and the kirk session.

They worked together to create displays, DVDs. photographs and exhibitions at the event.

A spokeswoman for Burns and Old Parish Church said an event like this had never been held before.

She added: “It was a great success and it was enjoyed by everyone.”

All the groups and organisations who took part want to thank everyone who came along and supported this unique event.
