A memorable tribute by Giffnock church

Giffnock South will unveil once again unveil a sea of poppies for Remembrance Day 2015.

The Eastwood Toll church recreated the famous Tower of London memorial last year, using church grounds to create a tribute to the fallen of the First World War.

The flowers — all 1,450 of them — were handmade by a group of ladies from the church.

Reverend Catherine Beattie will be conducting services, both this Sunday (November 8) and on Wednesday (November 11) at 10.55am in the main church, and all are welcome to attend.
