A Taste of Lanark Christmas
THE second annual festive Taste of Lanark Sunday shopping day had several attractions the first did not.
One innovation at the 2011 event, organised by Lanark Community Council, was the unexpected arrival of a full-blown `invasion’ of the town centre by several `reindeer’ and Santas.
Chief organiser Eleanor McLean said it was a very pleasant surprise when riders in festive costumes appeared on the High Street, courtesy of the Scottish Equi Centre.
