Angela Glendinning walks off her grief
ALTHOUGH her husband died just weeks ago, a Lanark woman has turned private grief into a very public fight against the disease which widowed her.
A fortnight from today Angela and William Glendinning would have been celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary but, instead, she will be spending what would have been a happy day of celebrations training hard to take part in a major cancer fundraiser.
Angela will be taking part in Shine, a Glasgow night time walking marathon, fulfilling a promise she made to her husband.
