The team at Robin House in Balloch is inviting supporters, friends, local residents, schools and businesses to pull on their gardening gloves and get busy to help ensure that the beautiful grounds surrounding the hospice are revitalised for families to enjoy.

Maggie Brown, Robin House gardener said: “The Spring Clean day at Robin House is an important day in the calendar for the gardening team.

“In just one day, and with a bit of elbow grease, the gardens are transformed ready to embrace Spring!

“It’s the perfect opportunity to get your wellies on, get out in the fresh air and meet other members of the community that support CHAS.

“We have a rose garden, sensory garden, Mediterranean garden, living willow maze and a whole area dedicated to wildlife, all in need of some TLC.

“There are jobs for all ages and abilities! We’re also urging anyone who participated in our ‘Bring a Bulb’ event last October to come back and see the fruits of their labour.”

The Spring Clean is set to take place on Sunday, April 17 from 11am to 3pm.
