“By being a member of this company I will gain new skills and find my own vocabulary of dance which will help me gain a place at University to further my studies and training.”
Dancing since the age of 10, Giomi currently studies dance full time at Glasgow Clyde Colleges’ Dance Studio Scotland. She spent summer of 2015 touring venues in Scotland with YDance’s Project Y Performance Course, a four-week summer intensive dance training programme for dancers aged 16 to 21.
Most recently she danced with YDance at the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships and now looks forward to spending a year dancing with the National Youth Dance Company of Scotland.
