Appeal to help trace much loved cat who has vanished

An appeal has been made to help trace a much loved family pet cat missing from Milton of Campsie.

Crumpet, a tabby outdoor female cat vanished from her home at Maple Avenue on Thursday, January 19.

Crumpet is a small, petite cat who has a predominantly thick, black tail and as she is microchipped she is not wearing a collar.

She was last seen on Tuesday afternoon and since then there have been no more sightings of her.

A spokesperson from the Cats Protection Branch said: “If you live near Maple Avenue would you please check huts, garages and any outbuildings that are around your property just to make sure Crumpet has not managed to slip in and make a temporary residence without you realising.

She is very much missed & her family would love to have her back home safe & sound.

If you recognise crumpet or have any information with regards to her whereabouts, please contact the Glasgow branch on 0345 371 2722 or email [email protected] or send us a pm. All the information we have is on the branch website.
