Armed robbery at Douglas Co-op

Police are appealing to the public for information following an armed robbery at the Douglas Co-operative store.

The incident, which took place on Saturday evening just before 8pm, saw two men enter the store with balaclavas on and brandishing knives just as the store was set to close.

The pair then threatened staff and made off with a quantity of cigarettes and a small sum of money - in the region of £150.
