Around 3000 spectators expected at Lesmahagow Show this Saturday

THE anticipated 3000 spectators expected to converge on Lesmahagow Show this Saturday will see the wool pulled before their eyes – but in the best possible way!

For speed sheep shearing – carried out by expert farmers from across Scotland from 11.30am – will be one highlight of a fantastic-looking family day out at the Showfield in Brocketsbrae.

Lesmahagow Show’s horse and pony convener Jane Armstrong said: “The sheep shearing – along with the tug-of-war – is one of the most popular things about the show.
