Arrest made after Shawlands incident
POLICE have made an arrest in connection with the alleged armed robbery of a shop in Shawlands.
The 46-year-old is being help in police custody and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow (Tues).
Armed police were called to an incident at Jim Blair Insurance Company on Kilmarnock Road in the southside of Glasgow.
Staff were said to shaken but uninjured and police said that no firearm was discharged.
