Arrest made in connection with homb hoax calls
An 18-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a series of hoax bomb calls, including a number made to schools across East Renfrewshire.
A Police Scotland representative confirmed that, as a result of ongoing investigation, a Barrhead had been detained.
He appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday(November 2) in connection with 15 hoax calls, as well as three reports of wilful fire raising, and was released on bail.
