At the Movies: Victoria Park Primary School, Carluke

CHILDREN at Carluke's Victoria Park School were dressed up as Peter Pan pirates, Toy Story cowboys and Jungle Book animals for a special showcase event attended by 70 parents.

An area of the school was turned into The Lion King's Pride Rock for last Thursday's festivities, with teachers playing the drums and inviting parents to join In.

And a paddling pool was installed within a classroom sensory area to create the swamp from Shrek.
