Avenue charity dolls
AVENUE mascots Newton and Fearn are getting all dolled up in aid of East Renfrewshire Good Causes.
The mall mascots have gone mini, with Newton and Fearn dolls on offer at the shopping centre in return for a £5 donation.
All the money raised will go to the charity — founded by Newton Mearns man Russell MacMillan — which provides assistance for community members in need.
Michelle McCabe, centre manager, said: “We have a long and proud tradition of raising considerable funds for charitable causes, thanks to the generosity of the people of East Renfrewshire.”
