Belmont House kids are Children in Need heroes
IT’S official — Belmont House school pupils are fundraising superheroes.
The Newton Mearns school raised £1,504 for Children in Need by hosting a Superhero charity day, and 11 lucky youngsters were able to present a cheque at the BBC studios, Pacific Quay, on the big night.
The Belmont House representatives watched clips on where their cash was going and saw live performances from Susan Boyle, Nina Nesbitt and the cast of Waterloo Road.
The charitable group were also interviewed by presenter Jackie Bird, with the clip aired the next day (Saturday, November 16).
