Big Lottery funding on offer for groups

Community groups in East Dunbartonshire have been urged to apply for Big Lottery Funding.

As of Wednesday, July 7, Big Lottery Fund Celebrate programme opened to applications.

The new funding scheme is designed to empower community groups to bring people together. It also has a focus on intergenerational projects.

Strthklevin and Bearsden MSP Rona Mackay said: “Communities are the bedrock of society and I back any measure that will help make them stronger in Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs, Bearsden and all of the villages in my constituency.

“I’m encouraging the many impressive voluntary and community groups to take up this potentially instrumental chance for a huge funding windfall.”
