Biggar dad Mark Attwood hits out at number of school holidays

However, for others it will mean a huge cut in teaching time between now and the most important exams of their lives.

And the number of holidays in the run-up to his son’s Higher exams has left Biggar parent Mark Attwood fuming.

He believes that the lack of time teachers will be able to spend with their pupils, including his son James, could leave many pupils struggling with their Highers.
