Biggar has a warm spot for a wet day
LOOKING for somewhere to go this afternoon?
Biggar Gasworks Museum is holding a steam day today, Monday, from noon until 4.30pm.
The coal-fired boiler will be operating, along with various items of steam-driven plant, and the machinery used to manufacture gas from coal will be on display.
Guided tours will be available. Take a step back in time, to the days before the North Sea oil and gas fields were discovered - it is well worth a visit.
