Biggar High pupils are catwalk queens

Biggar High pupils joined forces with other schools across South Lanarkshire to stage a spectacular fashion show.

The 10-week project ran from September to December last year with the subsequent fashion show and exhibition taking place at the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride.

Aimed at pupils studying art and design, various workshops took place throughout the course aimed at developing pupils’ skills in a specialist design area and giving pupils the chance to work with professional, practising designers within Scotland.

The Biggar pupils worked with jewellery designer Eloise Kerr, designing and constructing an exciting range of eye-catching necklaces.
