

There will be fun for all the family, with attractions such as a bouncy castle, games of skill, a bookstall, a CD fair, a tombola and a refreshments tent where home baking, teas and ice cream will be on sale.
Children will be especially welcome and activities include storytelling, face-painting and interactive fun from Biggar Kirk’s “Messy Church” initiative.

DamnDelicious will be selling their renowned beefburgers too.
The fete runs from 2pm until 6pm and will be followed by an open-air church service then a barbeque.
It is open to all and entry is free.
Minister Rev Mike Fucella said “I am really excited by the programme that is being organised for the Fete.
“It gives us an opportunity to bring God’s Word out to the heart of our community and show that the Church is vibrant and caring and relevant to all in 2015.

“This is a fundraising opportunity for us too, and we are trying to raise money to refurbish St Mary’s Hall, and install a modern multimedia system in the church which will enhance our services.
“Part of the money raised will be donated to Tear Fund, a Christian charity.”
If the weather is bad, it will be in the Municipal Hall.
