Henna hand painting was available and incredibly popular at the Taj Mahal restaurant, while Biggar Gas Works hosted a steam day.

Several organisations threw their doors open to the public with everyone from Biggar Puppet Theatre to the town’s Masonic Lodge taking part.

In the evening, the Eastfield and Harthill Flute Orchestra entertained at St Mary’s Hall and folkies headed to the Corn Exchange for an evening with Andy and Flora Munro.

There’s still plenty of time to enjoy Biggar Little Festival. See our website or the BLF website for more details of the programme.

Freelance photographer Sarah Peters was on hand to capture all the action for the Gazette and her pictures are featured in our slideshow, created by editor Julie Currie for your viewing pleasure. Sarah’s pictures are also available to purchase on the Buy It Now section of this website.
