Biggar Museum Trust raises £220,000 towards new museum

Biggar Museum Trust has already raised £220,000 of the cash it needs to buy Stephens Garage for a new museum...and the fun and fundraising continues with a mediaeval history festival this Saturday, May 14.

Last Sunday Aileen Campbell MSP unveiled the thermometer tracking the donations, showing the amount already raised on the way to the £385,000 needed to buy the garage.

“We are just delighted at the amount of support we have received in the local community,” said Museums superviser Suzanne Rigg.
