As reported, the Biggar Museum Trust is moving out of its Gladstone Court Museum and Moat Park Heritage Centre to consolidate its displays in one site, a former garage on High Street.

This week the Trust has applied for planning permission to convert one of these redundant buildings, Moat Park into three private homes. It also wants to build another house in the grounds.

The building was a church before its museum use.
