Bogie race staged at Hawksland on Easter Sunday

WHILE most people were scoffing their eggs on Easter Sunday a hearty band of people came to Hawksland for a charity bogie race.

Fire engines, rockets and even the batmobile turned up on the day for the event, which raised around £800 for Macmillan Cancer Support and Leukaemia Research.

Organiser Stuart Sommerville was pleased with the way the day went.
