Braveheart display will feature work of Bishopbriggs pupils

INSPIRING work by pupils at Bishopbriggs Academy is to feature in a new exhibition about William Wallace at the Scottish Parliament.

‘Special Delivery: The William Wallace Letters’, will put on public display a 700-year-old letter, believed to have been in the possession of William Wallace.

Pupils from across Scotland were invited to submit their work to help tell the story of Wallace and the struggle for power that took place across Europe in the early 1300s.

Bishopbriggs Academy is one of seven schools taking part in the project.

The S2 pupils’ work includes a narrated animation about William Wallace’s life.

The exhibition opens in the main hall of the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday, August 15, and runs until Saturday, September 8.
