Building work to start on new £8 million Forth Primary School

BUILDING work on the £8 million replacement Forth Primary School is set to begin this spring, after the proposal was approved by South Lanarkshire Councillors.

Detailed plans lodged by developer Morgan Sindall have been ratified for the new school, library and community facility.

It is the latest to get the go-ahead under the council’s £812m Primary Schools Modernisation Programme – and the 27th approval in the Clydesdale area since the innovative project began in 2004.
