Burns boost for Children In Need

The 20th annual North Lanarkshire Council Burns supper in Motherwell Civic Centre raised £4.095 for Children In Need.

Sponsored by M&D’s Theme Park, the event was hosted by Provost Jim Robertson, who said: “Many young people in North Lanarkshire benefit from the outstanding work of Children in Need and I’d like to thank everyone who contributed to a great night.”

Ross Strain from Airdrie Academy and Craig Peters from Bellshill Academy piped in the haggis , and Christine Sparks provided musical entertainment throughout the evening.
