Burns portrait is a load of old rubbish!

A talented student from Kirkintilloch has teamed up with her classmates to create a stunning artwork which is being displayed at the Scottish Parliament.

Iona McLean (19), who studies Skills for Life and Work at the Glasgow Clyde College, was part of a team who created a mural of Robert Burns from recycled packaging and other rubbish.

She’s pictured with MSP Bill Kidd who helped ensure the artwork was displayed for Holyrood’s annual Burns Supper.
