C what's coming back to Kilsyth

The C in the Park Committee intend to apply for a licence to hold the giant event at last year’s venue of Kilsyth Sports Field on Saturday May 28.

Without the permission of North Lanarkshire Council, the event cannot go ahead.

However, organisers have already some big lines named up if the festival is given the green light.

We can reveal that these include DJs Jack Eye Jones and Anne Savage who are in demand internationally but cleared their diaries for last year’s event.

Another festival favourite, Clyde 1’s George Bowie, has also promised to appear.
