Call for upgrade at Lanark’s Cleghorn Crossing

CLYDESDALE SNP MSP Aileen Campbell wants Network Rail to upgrade Lanark’s Cleghorn Level Crossing following a recent mechanical failure.

Aileen was speaking six weeks after an incident which saw the gates stuck in the up position.

Aileen said: “Level crossings pose some serious risks if the signalling equipment fails.”
