Call for volunteers to help organise Bearsden Festival

The popular Bearsden Festival is being organised again this year for September 3-4th.

There will be lots going on from workshops to plays, celtic concert to vintage bus, as well as Sunday strolls to societies fair and an open stage. There is lots more information on their growing website: bearsdenfestival.org

The event, now in it’s third year, is the brainchild of New Kilpatrick Church minister Reverend Roddy Hamilton, who sets up a team of people to organise it each year.

He is now looking for volunteers who would like to be part of imagining it and letting it happen this year. There’s lots of space of other events too, pop-up workshops, and anyone who wants a go on the open platform stage with music, choirs, etc.

Rev Hamilton said: “It’s going to be fantastic and as we all believe in community, this is a brilliant way to create it: safe, people catching up with others, finding new things to do, and do them together and have fabulous, fabulous fun. One weekend only at the start of September. Anyone up for it?”
