Calling all De Niros and da Vincis

East Renfrewshire council will soon be running a wide range of courses aimed at people of all ages.

The new term for drama begins on Saturday, April 13 and art classes on Monday, April 15.

Booking for these classes is now open.

The art classes are held in the theatre’s art workshop and run for eight weeks.

Classes will range from arts and crafts and visual communication for children and young people to drawing and painting, oil and acrylic painting and beginners’ art for adults.

Advanced registration is required for all classes.

The theatre also promises a wide range of drama classes for adults and children.

Covering all age ranges, the classes are designed to build confidence and develop social and performance skills in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

The drama classes are aimed at ages three years old and upwards.

Older children, teenagers and adults will work towards staging their own shows.
