Calls for Ben’s Law in wake of helicopter crash
COULD the one and only silver lining on the dark cloud of the McRae helicopter accident inquiry be the creation of Ben’s Law – to help prevent any other child dying in similar tragic circumstances?
It might be if the person representing the Crown during the marathon probe, Depute Fiscal Kate Meikle, gets her way.
The Fiscal wants it made law that ALL private flights taken by children in future should require full parental consent beforehand.
