Calzeat blaze a trail at Scottish textile show

SOME of the biggest names in the Scottish textile industry were in London for the first ever Textiles Scotland showcase.

And Biggar company Calzeat was one of the 50 designers and manufacturers showcasing in the capital.

Taking over the Institute of Contemporary Arts on The Mall, Calzeat collaborated with other Scottish textiles companies and designers to present Scotland Rediscovered, an innovative installation celebrating the industry.

Sales director Bob Galbraith said: "It's tremendous exposure for us and our new Celtic collection as well as our other jacquard designs.

"There were some fantastic up-and-coming designers there, as well as all the big names from London.

"It was a huge event and it was great to be part of it."
