Carluke High School charities show Phoenix was resounding success

THIS year’s Carluke High School charities show Phoenix has been declared a resounding success, following a tremendous evening’s entertainment.

The show, which featured acts from across the school years, helped pupils and stafff raise a mind-boggling £11,715, which will be distributed to various charities in the near future.

Among the acts performing were pianist John Kennedy, the Highland Groove dance duo of Danielle Smillie and Alison Hunter and a Beyonce medley featuring Beth Kelly, Nicole Carlyle and Gregor Duncan not to mention songs featuring chart acts like Pixie Lott and Kings of Leon.
