Carluke High School pupils are BBC reporters...for a day!

PUPILS at Carluke High have given the Gazette some competition – by taking part in the BBC News School Report!

The S1 and S2 pupils spent the day researching and writing stories for their bulletins, which were displayed on the BBC Schools Report website and the school’s intranet.

Carluke High English teacher Catriona Smith, who organised the event, said: “The pupils loved it. We got them to bring stories in at the start of the day and they also received local press releases supplied by the Gazette.”
