Carluke mum Lorraine Mathers to do sponsored skydive for her son

FORGET a charity cycle or coffee morning; a Carluke mum will take to the skies to raise money for her son.

Lorraine Mathers will take part in a sponsored skydive in May to raise funds for 16-month-old son Reece who was diagnosed with hypoparathyroidism - a rare condition which can cause muscle spasms, headaches and twitching, amongst other symptoms.

Lorraine (25) will be descending from upwards of 10,000 feet, all in aid of the Hypoparathyroidism UK charity.
