Carluke opera is family affair for Heather
dCARLUKE Amateur Operatic Society celebrates its 90th anniversary this year with a bigger and better show than ever before. The members will be performing The Sound Of Music later this year.
But year is certainly a special one for Heather Coulthard.
She is following in the footsteps of her mum Nanette McCallum and grandfather John Wright in becoming president of the society.
She added: “This is my 22nd year in Carluke Opera and I’ve basically grown up with it thanks to my mum and my grandfather.
