Carluke’s Sharon Biggins doing Great Scottish Run in memory of her mother
SUPER-woman Sharon Biggins is putting herself through eight weeks of pain – in memory of her mother.
Forty-year-old Sharon, from Carluke, will compete in the Great Scottish Run this weekend, taking part in BOTH its 10k and half marathon sections – and that’s just the warm-up for more events ahead!
In the space of the next two months, she will also race in the 110 mile Pedal Scotland Cycle event, the Great North Run, the Eyemouth Triathlon and marathons in Berlin, Chicago, Liverpool and Amsterdam.
