Carnwath kids raised money for Tanzania

OVER 200 Carnwath Primary children took part in a fun run to raise money for youngsters at a school in Tanzania.

The event kicked off with an aerobics style warm-up led by teachers Lorraine Campbell and Laura Ferguson, then the children lined up in consecutive classes to run the race.

Children in P4-P7 faced a run around Carnwath, and 125 of them followed a route from the school, along Couthally Terrace, along Murray Terrace, to Biggar Road, and into the King George V Park, running round that then back to the school.
