Carstairs toddler’s Dad cycles across Scotland to help other tots after her liver transplant

THE DAD of a Carstairs toddler has been busy cycling across Scotland to raise money for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation

fJamie McIlvaney’s daughter, Erin, who also has biliary atresia, hit the headlines earlier this year when she was given a life-saving liver transplant when she was only six months old.

Family and friends of Jamie and wife Kirstin rallied round Erin, now 14 months, and raised an amazing £9,400 for CLDF in March.

Now Jamie and friends expect to have raised £3000 by taking part in the Pedal for Scotland charity ride.
