Choral Union members meet Donald Trump in New York
It’s not a secret that billionaire and Apprentice star Donald Trump has a soft spot for Scotland having set up his controversial golf course in Aberdeenshire and purchased the Turnberry golf resort last year.
He welcomed the 29 Choral Union members to Trump Towers in the heart of New York City where they sang three Robert Burns songs.

Hide AdThe Trump visit and the complimentary lunch that followed was the icing on the cake for the Choral Union who had already played at one of the world’s most iconic music venues, the Carnegie Hall.
Choral Union members were part of a 200-strong choir which performed The Peacemakers by Karl Jenkins in front of a packed audience as part of the celebrations for Martin Luther King Day.
