Christmas show is on its way to town centre museum

Running from November 7-December 19, this year’s festive show will include the work of a special guest artist.

A museum spokesperson said: “This year we are delighted to have Joyce Leitch, as guest artist.

“Joyce is a printmaker who works at Glasgow Print Studio.

“Her current work ‘Within the Land’ is about trees and the ever changing seasons.

“Also, we will be hosting a feast of craft work from both local and national craft makers.

“To start it all off we will be having Santa Claus himself giving out prizes to our competition winners.

“There will be mulled wine and mince pies too.”
