Christmas spirit is coming to Lenzie
Lenzie Community Council’s programme of festive events will get off to a rousing start on Saturday, November 8, when the charity Christmas card and small gift sale takes place from 10am - noon in Lenzie Old Parish Church Hall.
Many local charities will be there including: Children 1st; Gartnavel Diabetic Group; Traidcraft; Marie Curie; Children with Heart Disorders; Friends of Glasgow Adoption Centre (formally Kirkintilloch Cats Protection); Deafblind Scotland; Epilepsy Scotland; Fairtrade; Chest/Heart/Stroke; Alzheimers Scotland; Tearfund and
Christian Aid.
So you can be sure of buying good quality cards where a higher than average proportion of the income goes to the charity in question.
In addition you can look forward to the legendary home baking provided by Lenzie Old Parish church - £2.00 for tea/coffee and cakes of your choice.
