Church medal for former education boss
THE former director of education for East Renfrewshire council has been awarded a Paisley Diocesan medal for services to Catholic education.
John Wilson retired from his post this year after 11 years of service. He was presented with the medal by father Tom Boyle, of the council’s education committee, at a farewell ceremony.
